Blooming Glen Farm is a 40 acre certified organic vegetable farm. We offer a friendly fast paced work environment. We have worked hard since we began our farm in 2006 to develop the systems and infrastructure needed to run a highly efficient and very productive operation.
We seek crew members who have some experience with farming or physical labor, a deep work ethic, a sense of humor and a strong commitment to providing local food. We are seeking folks who would like to help us grow and improve the farm into the future. Please check out our open positions.
Full time field crew positions are Monday through Saturday, 7am until about 6pm. Farmers market staff work Saturday or Sunday. Part time farm crew positions may also be available- see below for Available Positions.
Organic farming is very reliant on good solid crews in the field, and we expect everyone to pull their weight and master the skills of farming. The farm owners, production assistant and various other managers run the different aspects of the farm as a team, with the help of our field crew.
Blooming Glen Farm is situated in the rolling hills of northern Bucks County, surrounded by hundreds of acres of preserved farm land. We lease our land from Henry and Charlotte Rosenberger of Tussock Sedge Farm. They own the surrounding acreage where they graze their grass-fed red angus beef cows. We share a vision with the landowners for a vibrant local foodshed with an emphasis on sustainable agriculture. We are an hour from downtown Philadelphia and 15 min from historic Doylestown.
To apply for work at Blooming Glen Farm, please email us a detailed letter of interest and send a resume to info@bloomingglenfarm.com
After we receive your email, we will contact and give interviews with qualified candidates. We require an on-farm meeting and interview, as well as a trial work day (for field crew applicants) if seasonally appropriate. After the visit, if we’d like you to work at the farm, we will offer you the position and work out specific start dates.
